How it works
- Manual data dumps — full tenant export on request, in CSV, GeoJSON, Shapefile, GeoPackage, or Parquet
- REST API — programmatic access to your tenant's data, authenticated, audited, rate-limited fairly
- MCP for AI access — Model Context Protocol surface, so your tenant's data can be queried by Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP-capable AI tool without you having to write API clients
- Map export — print-ready PDF of any map view; spatial annex export for funder bids
- No lock-in — the architecture is standard (Svelte, PostgreSQL with PostGIS, Keycloak, containerised cloud hosting). If you ever wanted to take ownership of your deployment yourself, the platform is transferable
Why this matters
Customers building 30-year management agreements need to know their evidence base outlives the platform that hosts it. Ecology App is built on standard, transferable components, with explicit export paths from day one. Your data belongs to you; the platform is a useful surface for working with it.
For developers
The REST API and MCP surfaces are documented in the application itself. Authentication uses short-lived bearer tokens scoped to your tenant; every call is audit-logged. For integration discussions, use the contact link in the footer.
